This is my first foray into app design.
My intention is to design a visually appealing, easy to use calligraphy app.
Whilst drawing apps exist (some very impressive ones)
there doesn't seem to be one that does what I need it to do.
The calligraphy apps currently available seem very limited
and only really serve as a 'practise your writing' tool.
I'm hoping that my app would serve as a deep, yet user friendly,
writing and drawing tool for creating on the go.
Here is a little info about the app I wish to create. First up, there will be 4 tool icons...
1. pen (nib size) selector
2. nib angle selector
3. ink colour selector
The 4th button is for options, which will include Crop, Save/Upload and My Gallery
Here we see someone practising their drawing skills..
Different paper textures could effect the consistency of the pen strokes..
An iPad would give the artist a bigger canvas to work with.
The iPad Pro and Apple Pencil could work nicely with this app.
My hope is that I can find an app builder/tech wiz to collaborate with me on this. I think I can handle the design aspect but coding is not something I know much/anything about.
